WHAT SORT OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

As an experienced group of professional musicians, we have built up an extensive repertoire of hundreds of songs from a wide range of styles and genres ranging from the 50’s and 60’s all the way up to present day hits. We usually tailor our setlist to each event and often make changes on the spot to adapt and suit the crowd on the night. We are happy to take a list of your favourite bands and genres so that we can work it into the set!


WHAT TIME DO YOU ARRIVE AT THE EVENT?

In general, we aim to arrive from 5:30pm onwards. For a standard 9pm start.

(weddings) If performing in the same room as the wedding breakfast, as is often the case, we will wait for the meal and speeches to finish before loading in our gear. We take between 60 – 90 minutes to set up which gives plenty of time for guests to stretch their legs and mingle after the formalities are over.

If you have the space and prefer that we are all set up and sound-checked early in the day before guests arrive, an additional fee may apply.


HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?

We usually play 2 x 60-minute sets with a short break in between (usually lasting 20 minutes). We usually start at 9pm but we are happy to make arrangements that suit the event.

We also offer a DJ package that provides music after the band finish all the way through until the venue curfew (usually between 12am-1am)


WILL YOU BE ABLE TO LEARN OUR FIRST DANCE SONG?

We are more than happy to learn any first dance song at no extra charge! It is best to make these arrangements early on in the booking stage to give us plenty of time to learn and practice!


CAN I USE THE YOUR PA FOR SPEECHES?

We will usually set up after the speeches, and so paying extra for an earlier set up may not be the most cost-effective option. My advice would be to find a local PA hire company and compare costs, you may well find it’s cheaper than expected. What’s more, most bands don’t use wireless mics, usually the preferred choice when making speeches from the head table. If your do arrange for us to set up early in the day we can certainly work it out.


DO YOU BRING ALL OF YOUR OWN EQUIPMENT?

Yes. We are fully self-contained, this means all PA system, backline and lighting is included as part of the package. If there is a lighting system at the venue, we will usually combine both sets.


ARE YOU INSURED?

Yes. We are fully covered by public liability insurance which can be presented on request.


WILL YOU REQUIRE REFRESHMENTS?

We generally leave for events mid-afternoon and will often arrive home early hours of the morning so a hot meal and soft drinks is always greatly appreciated!


DOES THE PRICE QUOTED INCLUDE TRAVEL COSTS AND EXPENSES?

Yes, all quotes include travel expenses with no additional charges.


WILL YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

We usually take a 20% deposit upon booking. All payment options will be explained at that stage


HOW MUCH SPACE DO YOU NEED?

Ideally, we would like a secure space 4 metres wide and 3 metres deep for our full 4 piece band. We also require 2-3 independent regular wall sockets for power.
